Join North Suburban Network Representative Anny Rusk in conversation with John Shableski for PUBLISHING 101.

Publishing 101 will give writers and illustrators knowledge that will empower them to be better partners to agents, publishers, and other industry colleagues.

John and Anny will discuss what you should do before you submit your manuscript to an editor, the acquisition process inside the house, what makes a good book contract, how you should spend your advance, what you can expect during a book launch, and beyond.

In-person attendees, bring your questions for the Q & A afterwards.  Although John is considered an expert in graphic novels, their conversation will cover all book formats. “Whether it’s prose, a graphic novel, or a Middle Grade book, the acquisition process is the same.”

Join them free and in-person on February 29 or via live streaming for a small fee anywhere you want to be! For more information on what the speakers plan to discuss, please refer to this EVENT OUTLINE
