Promote at Anderson’s

An in-Person 20th Annual Anderson’s Children’s Literature Breakfast is back and #ReadLocalILLINOIS will be there!

Here is some information for storytellers:

Due to covid restrictions, they are rolling out invitations to local authors/illustrators/translators very slowly. (In other words, please don’t be alarmed if you haven’t yet received your invitation.) They can also invite fewer of us since they want to make room for as many educators and librarians as will be safe to include. This was not an easy decision for them!
Want to attend no matter what? Buy tickets HERE.

Here is Illinois’ plan:

As a group, we will be making swag bags for 400 educators to promote you. We ask you to plan to donate at least an hour or two to help pack swag bags the week of February 14 (exact date to be provided). Boxed lunches will be offered in a safe environment. Cannot pack due to work or distance? Ask Sarah how you can help.

We invite all of you–whether you are coming to the breakfast or not–to send us swag!
Both PAL & independently published invited.
NOTE: PALs, if you send us 500 pieces, we promise to distribute the extra at IRC in March. (Sarah Aronson has officially distributed ALL the swag from past years!)

This is a community effort to boost & support one another. Thanks for taking the time and money to create beautiful swag to send it to us. It does not happen without YOU!

DIRECTIONS:

ONE design per writer/illustrator.
Your swag should fit in a zipped plastic bag.
Your swag can be:

  • A book mark
